Hope you are doing well. I am visiting my parents and having a wonderful time 😎
And yet again its time for another Artful Crafting Challenge…. Congrats to the winners…. there were some really gorgeous entries for celebration theme (last month)
The theme for this month is Bright colours…. and here is my project.
I used water colour paper to create my background with Distress Markers. I used ‘picked raspberry’, ‘mustard seed’, ‘crushed olive’, and peeled paint. Once I had coloured the background, I splattered it with water droplets to get a wonderful effect because distress inks react with water. I think distress markers are really good to take along while travelling. However, you can use reinkers, ink pads and even distress stains to get this effect 😉 Check out Artful Crafting for a wonderful selection.
For the flowers and leaves I again used the same distress markers with water… and used my big shot. Flower dies from MFT and the leaf die is from Prima. The sentiment is from Altenew.
Hope you like it…. would love to hear what you think.
Don’t forget to visit the blogs of my fellow DT members… these awesome blogs are fully loaded with inspiration.
Bye for now
