How are you all . A quick share 🙂
Making tags is so much fun!! I made these some weeks back but did not get a chance to share them here on my blog.
I used the gorgeously cute stamp set from My Favorite Things called ‘Somebunny’. These bunnies are too cute! The sentiments are from Simon Says Stamp. I used die-cut vellum clouds on one on the tags… fussy cut some clouds for one and colored in the clouds with acrylic paint for the middle tag. The background was created with watered down distress stains.
Was happy with how they turned out 🙂 Hope you like them too.
Sending ❤ your way.
Its time for my post for the Artful Crafting challenge 2, which is all about ‘Unusual Stamping’. The focus is to go beyond using stamps as a sentiment…. there is sOOooo much more we can do with them… like making embellishments, coloring them in with pencils/inks/paints/markers etc, using them in mixed media, creating heat embossed backgrounds and many other ways.
Have you seen the wonderful projects by the DT… if not you HAVE to… they are super awesome and show some wonderful ways you can incorporate stamping into your projects!!!
So here is what I came up with…
I used ‘Piper’ from Saturated Canary stamps, from my DT kit… shes so pretty!!..

Today I wanted to share my experiment with stencils using distress paint. I usually use stencils with paste, inks and sprays, however, this time around I wanted to try something different. So my choice was to use the Victorian velvet distress paint from my Artful Crafting DT kit (shown below). It is a super gorgeous colour.
I cut some watercolour paper for tags and chose three different 6 x 6 inch stencils (Prima Chevron, Simon says Stamp Moroccan and a Prima doily stencil).Read More »
