I am back with another post for the Artful Crafting challenge. The theme this month is Rustic. Here is the moodboard 🙂
Time flies sOooOOOoo quickly… its ArtfulCrafting challenge time!!! This month we have a real fun theme going on… its all about layers. All the DT projects are inspired by this mood board.
Oh Yum 😛
Here are the cards I created 🙂
I used the awesome Simple Stories papers from my Artful Crafting kit… they are birthday themed and so much fun. I cut out the ‘Surprise’ and ‘Happy Birthday’ cards from the 12 by 12 sheet and used them as the focal point of my cards. Once that was sorted, I layered by card base using the 6 by 6 sheets of the same collection, the chipboard polaroids, the die-cuts (the cute little boy) and the stickers (some banners, stars). Here is a closer look at the cards.
A peak of my kit 🙂

Hello you all 🙂
Hope you are doing well. Its time for another Artful Crafting Challenge and the theme is ‘LOVE’.
So I started out with how I would define Love. For me ‘Love’ is the fabric that knits our day to day lives. Its all about family, friends, things we like, the food that we enjoy, the books we love, the jokes we share with friends and loved ones, the midnight snack while watching a movie and other simple things that fill my live with joy. These moments are great Blessings and I am thankful for them.
So when I started planning for my DT project I wanted to make something different. Something that captures the daily routine. And Shereen magically sent me the perfect DT package 🙂 Thanks Shereen!! 🙂 I had this Love Notes instagram album kit by We R Memory Keepers lying around, unused for ages and when I saw the ‘Love Notes’ 6 x 6 paper pack in my kit… I squealed with joy! This is what inspired me to document the simple and sweet memories with my kiddos, their smiles, the cheekiness, and happy moments. They are the sunshine of my life and growing up waaaaaayyyy too fast!!!
And finally, this album which I had been meaning to use for ages, became a reality 🙂
So this album by We R Memory Keepers, comes with clear photo sleeves and has a D-ring binding. Don’t you think such albums are just perfect for recording your everyday memories… you can make them really quickly or spend ages on them decorating and journalling 🙂 What I really love about them is… that they are really interactive… they tell a story… perfectly capture the beautiful imperfections of life… and most of all ‘ANYONE’, really anyone can make such an album (no rocket science involved :-P). All you need is a similar sort of album or even a note book/journal, a few photos, a pen, and some embellishments (for example, patterned papers, stickers, sequins, glitter, washi tape, or anything you can think of, the sky is the limit 🙂 ) The important thing is ‘DOCUMENTING” it all!! and having something to look back to.
